Job summary

Software Placement Group is seeking an Associate Attorney for its Employment Litigation practice in Boston. You will handle sophisticated disputes for employer clients with meaningful litigation responsibility and direct client interaction in a collaborative environment.

The role requires 3–7 years of related experience, bar admission in Massachusetts, and excellent writing/advocacy skills. This is a hybrid full-time position with strong growth potential.

Qualifications

• JD from an accredited law school with strong academic record.
• Active Massachusetts Bar admission in good standing.
• 3–7 years of labor and employment litigation experience.
• Experience handling discrimination, harassment, wrongful termination and wage/hour disputes.
• Strong pleadings, motions, discovery drafting experience.
• Depositions experience and federal/state court appearances.

Responsibilities

• Represent employers in employment litigation in state and federal courts, admin proceedings, and arbitration.
• Draft pleadings, motions, discovery requests and responses.
• Conduct witness interviews, legal research, and case analysis.
• Take/defend depositions and assist with trial preparation.
• Develop litigation strategy and advise clients on compliance and risk.
• Collaborate with colleagues on complex matters and manage case files.
