Sonos, Inc. invites highly motivated engineering students to join its 6-month Co-Op Program in Boston, MA. The role runs January through June 2027, requiring a full-time schedule of 40 hours per week with at least four days onsite at our Boston office.

This co-op offers hands-on project work, mentorship, and exposure to cross-functional teams within a leading audio technology company. Candidates should be pursuing an engineering degree and have a strong interest in audio, acoustics, and speaker

Qualifications

• Enrolled in BS/BA or AA in Engineering program
• Genuine interest in audio, speaker design, testing and manufacturing
• Ability to execute development tasks independently with a can-do attitude
• Ability to collect and present technical data to broad audiences
• Open to peer review and working in a diverse cross-functional team

Responsibilities

• Be immersed in a fast-paced, collaborative, cross-functional team environment
• Understand the Audio Engineering role within a Sound Experience company
• Transform unrefined requirements into optimized solutions including test plan development and prototyping
• Design and develop components, assemblies, and fixtures for testing loudspeakers and microphones
• Develop skills in audio measurement, signal processing, and analysis
