Job summary

loanDepot, Inc. is seeking a customer-focused SPOC in Loss Mitigation to support borrowers facing hardship. You will handle inbound/outbound calls, review delinquency issues, and coordinate with Loss Mitigation to offer retention options. A strong background in loan servicing and NMLS licensing is required.

The role requires working in a fast-paced contact center, with opportunities for growth and competitive compensation. Bilingual Spanish is a plus, and a bachelor’s degree is preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of SPOC Loan Servicing experience required.
• Experience in a Contact Center environment and inbound/outbound dialing.
• Ability to pass the Nationwide Mortgage Licensing System (NMLS) exam; licensed in every state of operation.
• Black Knight MSP or DOS experience preferred.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; Spanish speaking a plus.
• Bachelor’s Degree preferred or HS degree/equivalent required.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the SPOC and maintain borrower relationship until hardship/delinquency improves.
• Liaise between the customer and Loss Mitigation; communicate clearly using strong phone skills.
• Understand GSE, HUD/VA/USDA guidelines for retention and disposition options.
• Manage a portfolio of ~150 loans per investor and company guidelines.
• Review missing documents on incomplete workout packages within tight timelines.
• Negotiate payment arrangements and discuss foreclosure alternatives with borrowers.
