Job summary

U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) seeks Border Patrol Agents to join a large federal law enforcement workforce.

The BPA role offers entry to mid-level career opportunities with strong pay and comprehensive federal benefits, along with recruitment incentives and clear pathways for promotion. Selected applicants may be assigned to multiple duty locations across the United States and can receive incentives up to $20,000 for academy completion or prioritised locations.

Qualifications

• 1 year general work experience or equivalent education.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent education.
• Combination of experience and education acceptable.

Responsibilities

• Detect immigration and customs violations and inspect documents.
• Prevent and apprehend undocumented noncitizens and smugglers.
• Interpret tracks, evidence of illegal entry.
• Patrol borders using vehicles, horses, vessels, and other assets.
