Qualifications

• Combination of experience and education allowing use of the resume and transcripts for qualification.

Responsibilities

• Detect and question individuals suspected of immigration or customs violations and inspect documents to determine citizenship or violations.
• Prevent and apprehend undocumented noncitizens and smugglers near borders using surveillance and night-vision methods.
• Interpret physical evidence of illegal entry and contraband; perform checks across farms, buildings, traffic, and transportation.
• Patrol international boundaries and coastal waterways using various government assets.
• Note: locations may vary; some duty locations exist nationwide.
