Qualifications

• Knowledge of immigration and nationality law requirements.
• Familiarity with use-of-force policy and firearms handling.
• Criminal law and procedure knowledge for enforcement.
• Ability to gather information and prepare reports.

Responsibilities

• Detecting and questioning people suspected of violating immigration and customs laws and inspecting documents.
• Preventing and apprehending undocumented individuals and smugglers near borders.
• Interpreting tracks and evidence of illegal entry or contraband.
• Performing farm, building, traffic, city, and transportation checks.
• Patrolling borders using various assets to fulfill CBP mission.
