Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or successful completion of a full four-year course of study leading to a bachelor's degree.
• One year of general work experience; option to substitute with related education or combination of both.
• Combination of general work experience AND college education may qualify.

Responsibilities

• Detect individuals suspected of violating immigration and customs laws and inspect documents.
• Prevent and apprehend undocumented noncitizens and smugglers near borders using surveillance from various positions.
• Interpret tracks, marks, and other physical evidence of illegal entry.
• Perform farm, building, traffic, city, and transportation checks.
• Patrol the international boundary and coastal waterways using diverse assets to fulfill CBP mission.
