Customs and Border Protection is hiring Border Patrol Agents (BPA) for full-time positions across the United States. The BPA role offers base pay within the federal GS/GL scale, plus comprehensive benefits and potential recruitment incentives.

Vacancies span multiple duty locations and may include prioritization incentives for select postings. Initial qualifications range from one year of general work experience to a bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Qualifications

• One year of general work experience demonstrating leadership and decision making.
• Bachelor's degree or completion of a full four-year course of study.
• Combination of general work experience and education may qualify.

Responsabilités

• Detecting and questioning people suspected of violating immigration and customs laws.
• Preventing and apprehending undocumented noncitizens and smugglers near borders.
• Interpreting tracks, marks, and evidence of illegal entry or contraband.
• Performing farm, building, traffic, city, and transportation checks.
• Patrolling international boundaries and coastal waterways using various assets.
