Job summary

Vallarta Supermarkets in Duarte is seeking a Booth Clerk (FT) to manage the customer service booth, process transactions, and handle cash with accuracy in a fast-paced environment. You will greet customers, balance tills, and support store operations.

Responsibilities include processing payroll and checks, selling money orders and other booth services, and maintaining a clean, compliant work area while delivering outstanding customer care.

Qualifications

• Must be able to speak, read, write and understand English.
• 10-key calculator experience and ability to perform math calculations.
• Ability to learn basic computer programs (Outlook, Excel, Word).
• Legally authorized to work in the U.S.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and deliver friendly, exceptional service.
• Follow cash handling procedures and maintain transaction accuracy.
• Balance cash drawers at start and end of shifts.
• Process payroll and government checks per policy.
• Sell money orders, lottery tickets, and other booth services.
• Answer calls professionally and assist customers with requests.
• Keep booth area clean and organized; ensure compliance with policies.
