Job description

Job Brief

Efficiently set up, fill, inspect, and package all Cast Booster products. The operator will assure safe and timely processing of PETN to meet booster operation demands, adhering to plant and site-specific safety rules and quality standards.

Starting Pay and Benefits

Starting pay is $24.92 an hour

We have 2 shifts available:

• 2^nd shift: 2:30 pm - 11:00 pm
• 3rd shift: 10:30 pm - 7:00 am

What You'll Do

As a Booster Manufacturing Operator, your responsibilities include:

• Manufacturing quality Booster products
• Stocking manufacturing areas and preparing products for shipping
• Setting up canisters, pouring hot pentolite, and moving carts into cooling tunnels
• Transferring melted TNT/Triton, adding PETN as per formulations, and monitoring processes
• Loading canisters onto pallets, cleaning, packing, and stamping finished products
• Driving vans/box trucks for transportation, operating centrifuges, and maintaining documentation
• Promoting safety, quality, waste elimination, and participating in safety initiatives

What We're Looking For

• High School Diploma or GED preferred
• Manufacturing experience preferred; training provided
• Valid driver's license
• Ability to pass an ATF background check
• Effective verbal communication skills
• Must be 21 or older
• Physical ability to stand, sit, squat, lift up to 58 lbs, and push/pull 83 lbs
• Willingness to wear PPE as required
• Positive attitude and team spirit
