Job description

Job Brief

Efficiently set-up, fill, inspect, and package all Cast Booster products. The operator will ensure safe and timely processing of PETN to meet booster operation demands, adhering to plant and site safety rules and quality standards.

Starting Pay and Benefits

Starting pay is $24.92 an hour

We have 2 shifts available:

  • 2nd shift: 2:30 pm - 11:00 pm
  • 3rd shift: 10:30 pm - 7:00 am

What You'll Do

As a Booster Manufacturing Operator, your responsibilities include:

  • Manufacture quality booster products
  • Properly stock manufacturing areas and prepare products for shipping
  • Set up canisters, pour hot pentolite, and move carts into cooling tunnels
  • Manage melting processes, add PETN according to formulations, and monitor procedures
  • Load canisters onto pallets, clean, and pack finished products for shipping
  • Drive a van/box truck for transportation, operate and unload centrifuge
  • Maintain documentation, keep work areas organized, and promote safety and quality initiatives
  • Collaborate with maintenance to troubleshoot and improve equipment uptime
  • Uphold safety standards and ensure regulatory compliance
Minimum Requirements
  • High School Diploma or GED preferred
  • Manufacturing experience preferred; training provided
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Willingness to undergo ATF background check
  • Effective verbal communication skills
  • Must be 21 or older
  • Ability to stand, sit, squat, bend, walk, lift up to 58 lbs, and push/pull 83 lbs
  • Ability to wear and care for PPE as required
