Job summary

Hudson Group is seeking a Retail Shift Manager to support store leadership in delivering excellent customer experiences and ensuring operational readiness.

You will supervise hourly associates, oversee cash handling, planogram compliance, and ensure adherence to safety and brand standards across shifts. Strong communication and coaching skills are essential for maintaining high performance and service quality.

Qualifications

• Requires 2+ years of retail and/or customer service experience.
• Requires minimum of 6 months of supervisory or lead experience in retail, specialty retail, or customer service environment.
• Experience with POS systems and retail management software.
• Knowledge of federal, state, and local safety and health standards, and procedures to comply with retail regulations.

Responsibilities

• Executes SOPs during shifts and ensures adherence to brand standards.
• Coaches and supports hourly associates to maintain operational standards.
• Maintains clean, stocked, and visually appealing displays; reports maintenance needs.
• Ensures timekeeping accuracy and monitors overtime per labor laws and budget.
• Oversees cash handling and POS operations following company policies.
• Monitors inventory levels and processes invoices; reports discrepancies.
