Job summary

Goodwill Manasota is seeking a Bookstore Keyholder to lead daily store operations and deliver exceptional customer service. You will train, supervise, and evaluate team members while mastering all aspects of the donated goods process.

The role requires handling cash, opening/closing duties, and staying current on literary trends to steward donations and drive sales. Weekend availability is required for this full-time position.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Basic computer skills required.
• Prior cash handling experience preferred.
• Must be willing and able to work days, evenings, and weekends.
• Must be able to perform the essential functions of the job with or without accommodation.

Responsibilities

• Provide world class customer service to all internal and external customers
• Partner with the Store Leadership to train, develop, supervise, and evaluate team members
• Train to master all aspects of the Goodwill donated retail goods process
• Support the operations of the store with necessary activities such as open/close, cash handling, inventory control, processing and rotation of donated goods, and loading of trucks
• Steward donations well by building and maintaining an awareness of current literary trends and popular titles
