Job summary

Books-A-Million in Virginia Beach is seeking a friendly 2nd & Charles Associate to deliver exceptional customer service, greet customers, assist with questions and orders, and operate the register efficiently.

You will drive sales through product knowledge, participate in merchandising, stock shelves, reset displays, and support store operations while protecting company assets and following loss-prevention guidelines.

Qualifications

• 16 years of age or older.
• Successful completion of all background screenings.
• Computer skills and cash register skills.
• Previous retail sales experience.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers, assist with questions and orders, and operate the cash register.
• Sell all products and participate in POS initiatives.
• Deliver and place products on the sales floor per merchandising guidelines.
• Restock shelves, reset displays, and perform housekeeping tasks.
• Protect company assets by adhering to loss-prevention standards.
