Job summary

The Bookseller is seeking a friendly and helpful team member to deliver exceptional customer service. You will greet customers, answer questions about books and merchandise, assist with orders at the register, and promote store programs.

The role involves stocking shelves, maintaining a clean, inviting sales floor, and assisting with shipments. You will stand for long periods, perform light lifting, and work with others to ensure a positive shopping experience for every guest.

Qualifications

• 16 years of age or older
• Successful completion of all required background screenings

Responsibilities

• Greet customers, answer questions about books and orders, and assist at the register.
• Promote store programs such as Membership and Educator programs.
• Balance cash drawer per shift per Loss Prevention policy.
• Stock, shelve, and straighten books and product on the sales floor.
• Support inventory, merchandising, and housekeeping tasks as needed.
