Job summary

Books-A-Million in Nashville is seeking a friendly Bookseller who excels at customer service, greets customers warmly, answers questions, and handles purchases at the register with accuracy. You will assist in merchandising shelves, restocking items, and supporting inventory and store operations while promoting Membership and Educator programs.

Qualifications

16 years of age or older.
Successful completion of all required background screenings.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

Greet customers and provide high level of service; assist with questions and orders; operate the cash register efficiently and accurately.
Promote and explain membership programs, magazines, Educator programs, and other company initiatives.
Balance cash drawer after each shift according to Loss Prevention Policy.
Restock and merchandise products on sales floor following guidelines and timelines.
Maintain store cleanliness and help with inventory and housekeeping tasks as needed.
