Job summary

Books A Million is seeking a friendly Bookseller to deliver exceptional customer service, assist shoppers with questions and orders, and operate the register efficiently in a fast-paced retail environment.

You will greet customers, promote memberships and other store programs, stock and present products on the sales floor per merchandising guidelines, process shipments, and help maintain store cleanliness and safety every shift.

Qualifications

• 16 years of age or older.
• Successful completion of all required background screenings.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and provide exceptional service.
• Assist customers with questions and orders and operate the cashier.
• Promote memberships and other store programs.
• Balance cash drawer each shift within policy.
• Stock and present products on the sales floor per merchandising guidelines.
• Maintain store cleanliness and assist with inventory and shipments.
• Adhere to loss prevention standards and act with integrity.
