H&R Block in Burien, WA seeks an experienced Bookkeeper to deliver accurate bookkeeping, payroll, and client service. You will post transactions, reconcile accounts, generate financial statements, and process payroll while handling 1099s/W-2s and tax statements with discretion.

Qualifications include a high school diploma and bookkeeping certifications (or ability to obtain) with 1–3 years of experience; Xero experience is preferred.

Formación

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• National bookkeeping and payroll certifications or ability to obtain them.
• 1–3 years of bookkeeping experience.
• Knowledge of GAAP and bookkeeping procedures.
• Ability to interpret policies and maintain confidentiality.
• Analytical mindset and attention to detail.

Responsabilidades

• Post financial transactions into subsidiary books and ledgers.
• Reconcile and balance accounts.
• Generate and analyze financial statements.
• Prepare and process payroll.
• Generate 1099s and W-2s and tax statements.
• Communicate with clients, vendors, and banking contacts.
• Support client retention and growth opportunities.
