Job summary

Kelly in Livonia, MI is seeking a detail-oriented Accounting Clerk or Bookkeeper to support weekly invoicing and monthly accounting tasks on-site, with potential for a hybrid schedule as the role develops.

You will review timesheets and expenses, enter invoices into QuickBooks Online, assist with monthly close, and collaborate with leadership to ensure accurate records and timely payments. This is a long-term, full-time contract with growth potential.

Qualifications

• Experience in bookkeeping, accounting support, or AP/AR roles.
• Proficiency with QuickBooks Online.
• Strong Excel skills for data organization and formulas.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to spot inconsistencies.
• Ability to work to weekly and monthly deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Review weekly timesheets and expense files for accuracy.
• Check reported hours and expenses for reasonableness.
• Format and organize spreadsheet data; prepare client invoices.
• Enter invoice information into QuickBooks Online and assign costs.
• Support weekly invoicing, typically on Tuesdays.
• Assist with monthly close and account reconciliations.
• Review expense categorization with leadership to ensure accuracy.
• Help with additional bookkeeping tasks as needed.
