Job summary

Elk Rapids Chamber is seeking a detail-oriented Controller/Bookkeeper to manage day-to-day accounting for our family of companies in Alden, MI. You will handle accounts payable and receivable, payroll, bank reconciliations, and financial reporting using QuickBooks Online.

Ideal candidates have GAAP knowledge, experience as a Controller/Bookkeeper or similar role, and strong organizational skills. Hybrid work is offered with training, plus paid sick time.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Controller/Bookkeeper or similar role.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and accounting principles.
• Proficiency in QuickBooks Online.
• Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day accounting operations across our family of companies.
• Accounts Payable & Accounts Receivable.
• Payroll & bank reconciliations.
