Job summary

Z Technologies Corporation in Redford, MI is seeking a full-time on-site Bookkeeper to manage day-to-day financial recordkeeping, process invoices, record payments, reconcile accounts, and maintain the general ledger.

You will prepare financial reports, assist with month-end and year-end close, use accounting software, ensure internal controls, and collaborate with management to provide accurate information.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in bookkeeping fundamentals including General Ledger management and Journal Entries (Accounting).
• Experience preparing and reviewing Financial Statements and related financial reports.
• Ability to work with Accounting Software and basic Finance tools to maintain accurate records.
• Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret financial data.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills for collaborating with colleagues and management.
• Prior experience in a bookkeeping or accounting role; familiarity with small to mid-size business environments is beneficial.
• Associate's or bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day financial recordkeeping, including processing invoices and recording payments.
• Reconcile bank and credit card accounts and maintain the general ledger.
• Prepare and review financial reports and assist with month-end close.
• Post journal entries, track expenses and revenue, and support year-end closing activities.
• Collaborate with management to provide accurate financial information and ensure internal controls.
