Position: Job Cost Accountant (JCA)

Reports To: General Manager

What does a JCA with Paul Davis do?
  • Manage all phases of job costing within RMS and QuickBooks Accounting Software.
  • Manage the daily operations of the franchise as needed when the owner is not available.
  • Maintain all accounting, computer, and financial records for the franchise in conjunction with a CPA.
  • Communicate empathetically and with a sense of urgency through modern technology.

Role on the Team (Job Responsibilities):
  • Establish rapport with insurance carriers, customers, vendors, subcontractors, adjusters, agents, and colleagues.
  • Provide excellent customer service.
  • Assist team members and foster positive interdepartmental relationships.
  • Represent our brand positively.
  • Gather information through strong listening and communication skills, asking questions, and monitoring business aspects to identify problems.
  • Manage all phases of job costing.
  • Oversee daily franchise operations as needed in the owner’s absence.
  • Maintain all accounting, computer, and financial records.
  • Ensure updated safety certificates and insurance coverage for subcontractors.
  • Enter timesheets and process payroll.
