Job summary

Log Still Distillery, LLC is seeking a detail-oriented Bookkeeper to own the daily accounts payable and accounts receivable across our entities. This hands-on role ensures clean, timely, accurate data feeding our ledgers and trial balances, primarily using Dynamics 365 Business Central and QuickBooks Online, reporting to the Director of Finance & Business Operations.

The ideal candidate has 1–3 years of bookkeeping experience with strong Excel skills and must work on-site in New Haven, KY.

Qualifications

1–3 years of hands-on bookkeeping, AP/AR, or general accounting experience.
Solid understanding of double-entry bookkeeping fundamentals.
High attention to detail and strong ownership of accuracy and deadlines.

Responsibilities

Process the full AP cycle: receive, review, code, and enter vendor invoices; manage AP inbox; prepare payment runs.
Backlog cleanup: partner with Finance to catch up and clean up existing AP backlog and establish daily cadence.
Enter and apply customer invoices and payments; monitor AR aging and assist with collections.
Ensure every transaction is coded to the correct entity, department, and market dimensions for accurate ledgers.
Perform daily entries in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central and QuickBooks Online; support the monthly import process.
Assist with bank/credit-card reconciliations and the monthly close.
Maintain organized financial records and support the finance team with ad hoc tasks.
