Job summary

CFS in Novi, MI is seeking a Bookkeeper and Payroll Specialist to handle bookkeeping records for multiple client accounts, process payroll, and support month-end activities onsite.

You will gain exposure to payroll, tax processes, and financial reporting across diverse industries while interacting directly with clients and colleagues. This flexible, part-time role offers hands-on accounting experience and room to grow with a team of accounting professionals.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of bookkeeping or accounting support experience.
• Experience with QuickBooks, Xero, or similar accounting software.
• Knowledge of account reconciliations and financial reporting.
• Experience with merchant or e-commerce accounting platforms.
• Enrolled Agent credential or experience preparing 1040 tax returns is a plus.
