Aston Carter partners with a Spokane family-owned business to hire a Full-Charge Bookkeeper for an on-site, contract-to-hire role. You will own daily accounting, handle AP/AR, reconciliations, and monthly financials while coordinating with an external accounting firm.

We seek 1+ year bookkeeping experience, proficiency with QuickBooks Desktop/Enterprise, and an accounting background. Competitive $25-$35/hour pay, with benefits upon permanent hire; on-site, Monday–Friday, in Spokane, WA.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of bookkeeping or accounting experience.
• Proficiency with QuickBooks Desktop/Enterprise.
• Accounting training, certification, or degree preferred (AIPB, NACPB, etc.).
• Strong understanding of AP, AR, reconciliations, and general bookkeeping practices.

Responsabilités

• Managing Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable.
• Performing bank and credit card reconciliations.
• Preparing monthly financial reports and statements.
• Maintaining aging reports for wholesale dealer accounts.
• Assisting with month-end and year-end closing activities.
• Partnering with an external accounting firm for annual reconciliations.
• Entering and maintaining accurate financial data in QuickBooks Enterprise.
• Supporting customers and clients by answering occasional phone inquiries.
• Assisting with additional administrative tasks as needed.

Full-Charge Bookkeeper

What You'll Be Doing

As the Full-Charge Bookkeeper, you'll take ownership of day-to-day accounting functions while supporting the overall success of the business. Responsibilities include:

• Managing Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable
• Performing bank and credit card reconciliations
• Preparing monthly financial reports and statements
• Maintaining aging reports for wholesale dealer accounts

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Spokane, WA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $35.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
