Qualificações

• Proficiency in bookkeeping and journal entries; maintain organized financial records.
• Experience preparing and reviewing financial statements (income statements, balance sheets, cash flow).
• Hands-on experience with accounting software and finance tools in small business environments.
• Strong attention to detail, numerical accuracy, and ability to resolve discrepancies in accounts.
• Solid understanding of general accounting principles; prior bookkeeping experience is a must.
• Relevant coursework or certification in accounting or bookkeeping is required.

Role Description

The Bookkeeper manages payroll for up to 5 employees every 2 weeks and processes checks for our event talent using QuickBooks Desktop. We are a boutique business looking for an independent bookke eper or firm that specializes in small business needs. This is a virtual hourly role but candidate needs to be located in the Northern Chicago suburbs. Tasks include updating accounting software, check preparation, monitoring cash flow and organizing receipts and invoices.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in bookkeeping and journal entries (accounting), with the ability to maintain accurate and organized financial records.
• Experience preparing and reviewing financial statements, including basic understanding of income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow reports.
• Hands-on experience with accounting software and finance tools, preferably small business or professional services environments.
