Scion Staffing has been engaged to conduct a search for a Bookkeeper for our client, a reputable financial services organization located onsite in Mill Valley, CA. This is a full-time, temporary position requiring in-office presence, Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM–5:30 PM.

POSITION OVERVIEW:

We are seeking a highly organized Bookkeeper with strong QuickBooks Online (QBO) experience to support a categorization and reconciliation project. This role will work closely with the Director of Client Services in a collaborative, small office team of 10–15 employees. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, efficient, and ready to hit the ground running.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Manage categorization and reconciliation of financial transactions in QuickBooks Online
• Collaborate with the Director of Client Services to ensure accurate recordkeeping
• Maintain organized, accurate financial files and documentation
• Ensure compliance with company accounting procedures and standards
• Assist with general bookkeeping tasks as assigned
• Communicate effectively with team members to ensure smooth project completion

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Proficient in QuickBooks Online (QBO) — required; not just QuickBooks
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Previous bookkeeping and accounting experience
• Ability to work onsite in Mill Valley, CA
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS:

• $38–$39/hr, depending on experience
• Temporary assignment through September 15, 2025
