Qualifications

• 3+ years of bookkeeping or accounting support experience.
• Experience with high-volume transactions and multiple financial systems.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Experience with NetSuite is preferred.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel.

Responsibilities

• Review and validate financial transactions for accuracy and completeness.
• Ensure supporting documentation is received, organized, and properly attached within accounting systems.
• Investigate discrepancies between operating systems and NetSuite.
• Review employee expenses and verify proper coding, approvals, and supporting documentation.
• Follow up with branch offices and employees regarding missing receipts, invoices, and expense documentation.
• Perform data integrity audits across multiple financial systems.
• Assist with month-end close activities and transaction reconciliation.
• Support accounting processes related to vendor payments, expenses, and operational transactions.
• Monitor and maintain accurate financial records within NetSuite and other internal systems.
• Work closely with senior accounting staff to help alleviate high-volume transactional work.

This individual will assist with high-volume bookkeeping and accounting support functions while helping the team manage workload during a transitional period. The ideal candidate has strong attention to detail, experience working with financial systems, and the ability to independently manage large volumes of transactions and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Review and validate financial transactions for accuracy and completeness

Skills and Requirements

• 3+ years of bookkeeping, accounting support, or related financial experience
• Experience processing high volumes of transactions and documentation
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to identify discrepancies and troubleshoot data issues
• Comfortable communicating with various departments and stakeholders to collect required information
• Basic proficiency with Microsoft Excel
• Experience using NetSuite
• Previous experience supporting month-end close activities
• General accounting knowledge including accounts payable, accounts receivable, expense management, or reconciliations
