What we expect from you
Our law firm is currently searching for a bookkeeper to add to our expanding company. The bookkeeper role will be comprised of financial, administrative and clerical responsibilities, under the guidance of the accountant and department leadership team. The ideal bookkeeper for this position will be comfortable with being responsible for recording the company’s financial accounts and records. This role will be responsible for completing payments and control expenses by receiving payments, plus processing, verifying and reconciling invoices. Due to the nature of the company, the candidate should be detail orientated and have the ability to work well with others on a team.
Duties and Responsibilities
Qualifications :
High school diploma (or G.E.D.)
Associate’s degree or equivalent experience preferred
Ability to understand and carry out detailed oral and written instructions.
Ability to work under supervision; exercise judgment and confidentiality.
Must demonstrate attention to detail and maintaining a routine; organizational skills required.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or related software as well as other accounting software programs.
Clearly detail and document all information in our case management software program
Must possess customer service, data entry, and payroll accounting skills
Previous bookkeeping experience preferred
Law firm accounting experience preferred
