Job summary

Ingram Content Group, located in La Vergne, TN near Nashville, seeks a Specialty Retail Manager to grow retailer partnerships and optimize book distribution. You will analyze sales trends, manage collections, and collaborate with publishers and internal teams to align product offerings with retailer needs.

You will coordinate merchandising plans, forecast demand, and drive profitable campaigns with suppliers and the Retail, Product, and Marketing teams.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or year-for-year experience.
4 years progressive experience in Sales, Inventory Management, Project Management, or Marketing.
1 year experience in Excel creating spreadsheets with formulas, data manipulation, charts/graphs and VLOOKUP.

Responsibilities

Manages relationships with publishers, customers and internal Ingram departments.
Analyzes customer sales and book industry trends by category to understand product needs.
Creates analysis and advice to drive the business in a profitable direction.
Works with suppliers to create pre-packs, promotions, and marketing materials using customer marketing vehicles.
Determines title allocations and forecasts initial buy quantities to maximize sales and sell-through.
