Job summary

Ingram Content Group is seeking a Specialty Retail Manager in La Vergne, TN to drive retailer relationships and optimize product offerings. You will analyze sales trends, work with publishers and internal teams, and manage inventory strategies to grow profitability across the specialty retail segment.

The role emphasizes collaboration with Retail Sales, Product, Marketing, and Operations to deliver seasonal promotions and effective merchandising, with focus on title allocations and service level

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or year-for-year experience.
• 4 years progressive experience in Sales, Inventory Management, Project Management, or Marketing.
• 1 year previous intermediate to advanced experience in Excel creating spreadsheets to include formulas, data manipulation, charts/graphs and V lookup

Responsibilities

• Manages relationships with publishers, customers and internal Ingram departments.
• Analyzes customer sales and book industry trends by category to understand product needs and opportunities.
• Creates analyses and advisory materials for customers and suppliers to drive profitability.
• Works with suppliers to create pre-packs, promotions, and marketing materials.
• Negotiates terms of sale (TOS) for title-specific business and forecasts buy quantities.
• Determines title allocations for customers, including initial orders and replenishment, to maximize sales.
• Resolves ordering/shipment issues and drives service level improvements with Operations and DCs.
• Communicates shipment issues and provides solutions to customers.
• Develops seasonal sales plans and collaborates with Retail and Product teams on promotions.
