Job summary

Amgen is seeking a Senior Manager, Field Reimbursement in the Southeast US region to lead a team of Field Reimbursement Managers. You will translate national priorities into regional plans, coach field teams, and ensure strong access for Amgen medications across Buy & Bill and specialty pharmacy channels.

You will collaborate with Sales, Market Access, Medical, and HUB to address payer dynamics, optimize customer engagement, and drive performance against KPIs while maintaining compliant field

Qualifications

• Doctorate degree with 2 years of public or private third-party access arena or pharmaceutical industry in sales, managed care, or clinical support experience.
• Master's degree and 4 years of public or private third-party access arena or pharmaceutical industry in sales, managed care, or clinical support experience.
• Bachelor's degree and 6 years in public or private third-party access arena or pharmaceutical industry

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, develop, and retain a high-performing team of Field Reimbursement Managers.
• Establish clear performance expectations and hold the team accountable for KPIs and service-level targets.
• Observe customer engagement, coach FRMs in real time, and monitor market dynamics.
• Develop regional strategies translating national priorities into territory/accounts plans.
• Lead cross-functional collaboration with Sales, Market Access, Medical, HUB, and Operations.
• Identify and resolve systemic access, reimbursement, or operational issues with leadership.
