Job summary

Materion Lincoln, RI is seeking a Bonding Mill Helper on the 2nd shift to support a Bonding Mill Operator by performing machine set-up, handling coils, and ensuring product quality. You will measure gauge and width, assist with machine parameter settings, and monitor speeds with dial indicators to minimize defects.

A High School diploma and at least 1 year in manufacturing are required; metals industry experience is a plus.

## Bonding Mill Helper - 2nd ShiftApplylocations: Lincoln/Providence, RItime type: Full timeposted on: Posted Todayjob requisition id: 2026-R8469### **At Materion, everyone is included, respected and offered opportunity to grow. *Join us!***Reporting to the Production Supervisor, the Bonding Mill Helper assists a Bonding Mill Operator in meeting the department’s goals by performing machine set-up, maintaining quality standards, meeting daily production targets, and troubleshooting equipment when required.**Responsibilities*** Responsible for coil handling which involves removing coils from skids, loading coals to the payoff, and measuring gauge and width of the material with measuring devices.* Assist with the set-up of a designated Bonding Mill following process sheets, setting machine parameters, and using lubrication.* Assist with machine adjustments and set-ups to reduce thicknesses, reshape products, and eliminate product defects.* Assist with the examining, inspecting, and measuring of raw materials and finished products to verify conformance to specifications.* Assist with controls and observe dial indicators in order to monitor, adjust and regulate speeds of machine mechanisms.**Requirements*** High School or GED Required* At least 1 year of previous manufacturing experience required* Experience in a metals industrial setting preferred* Ability to read, analyze, and interpret reports, manuals, technical procedures22.10 - 31.75 USD Hourly*\*The hourly pay range listed is a guide for this position and may vary depending on experience, education, geographic location, and other qualifications.
