Job summary

Checon, LLC, a division of Alloy Holdings, is hiring for a Bonding Mill Operator in Glens Falls, NY. The role operates bonding mill equipment, sets up tooling, and monitors production quality during a Monday–Friday 6:00 AM–2:30 PM shift with paid training and competitive pay.

Manufacturing experience is a plus but not required; training is provided. Candidates should be mechanically inclined, safety-conscious, and able to lift up to 50 pounds and work around high temperatures.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn.
• Strong work ethic and reliability.
• Attention to detail and commitment to safety.
• Manufacturing or machine operation experience preferred, but not required.
• Ability to stand for extended periods.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to work around high-temperature equipment.
• Ability to use precision measuring tools such as calipers and micrometers.

Responsibilities

• Operate bonding mill equipment and production machinery.
• Set up equipment and tooling for production runs.
• Monitor product quality and production processes.
• Inspect finished products using precision measuring tools.
• Perform basic machine adjustments and assist with equipment maintenance.
• Record production data and maintain work orders.
• Maintain a safe, clean work environment.
• Work with team members to meet production and quality goals.
