Job summary

Materion Lincoln, RI is seeking a Bonding Mill Helper on the 2nd shift to support a Bonding Mill Operator by performing machine set-up, handling coils, and ensuring product quality. You will measure gauge and width, assist with machine parameter settings, and monitor speeds with dial indicators to minimize defects.

A High School diploma and at least 1 year in manufacturing are required; metals industry experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• High School or GED required.
• At least 1 year of manufacturing experience.
• Metals industry experience preferred.
• Ability to read, analyze and interpret reports and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Handle coils from skids, load to payoff, and measure gauge and width.
• Assist with Bonding Mill setup per process sheets and adjust parameters.
• Assist with machine adjustments to reduce thickness and defects.
• Inspect materials to verify conformance to specifications.
• Observe dial indicators to monitor speeds and adjust machinery.
