Job summary

Dallas Independent School District is seeking a Director (226 Days) Bond Funded to lead budgeting, financial accounting, reporting, expenditures, and procurement across the Bond Program.

The role directs and coordinates Program Management Firms, contract claims, risk management, and bond policy implementation, working with design professionals to ensure compliant, on-time project delivery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited university required.
• TEA Mid-Management, TASBO, or other related certification preferred.
• A minimum of ten years directly related experience.

Responsibilities

• Direct and oversee budgeting, financial accounting, and reporting for the Bond Program.
• Approve and lead the implementation of department processes and procedures.
• Coordinate with Program Management Firms and design professionals on bond contracts and requirements.
• Direct administrative tasks of the Program Management Firms and ensure compliance with laws.
• Chair meetings and prepare performance and objective reports.
• Oversee procurement activities and approval workflows for construction services.
