Vista America seeks a BD700 Captain (PIC) to lead premium flights and deliver an exceptional passenger experience. You will work with a high-performance team supported 24/7 by leadership, Flight Operations Managers, and an Operational Control Center within a mature Safety Management System and Just Culture.

Your role requires top-tier aviation credentials and extensive flight time, with home basing across the United States and a stable 17/13 schedule.

Qualifications

• FAA ATP certificate and BD700 PIC type rating are required.
• Total flight time of 4,000 hours minimum; PIC time 2,000 hours.
• Multi-engine 1,500 hours; Turbine 1,000 hours; IFR 300 hours minimum.
• Current First Class Medical; no incidents or enforcement actions in last 5 years.
• Meets ICAO Annex 1-2.1.10 for multi-pilot international ops.
• Authorization to work in the United States and to travel as needed.

Responsibilities

• Operate the BD700 as PIC to the highest safety and service standards.
• Serve as a brand ambassador delivering luxury service and proactive passenger care.
• Exercise sound judgment and decisive leadership in international operations.
• Collaborate with Flight Ops, Maintenance, and OCC to ensure on-time, quality execution.

The Opportunity

Lead premium business aviation flights as Pilot-in-Command on the BD700 while delivering an exceptional, personalized passenger experience. You’ll join a high-performance operation backed 24/7/365 by pilot leadership, the Chief Pilot, Flight Operations Managers, the Director of Operations, and our Operational Control Center—within a robust Safety Management System and a supportive Just Culture.

What You’ll Do

• Operate the BD700 as PIC to the highest standards of safety, compliance, and service.
• Serve as a polished brand ambassador, delivering luxury service and proactive, solution-focused care for our passengers.
• Exercise sound judgment and decisive leadership in dynamic, international operating environments.
• Collaborate with Flight Operations, Maintenance, and the Operational Control Center to ensure on-time, quality execution.
• Uphold a strong safety culture, adhering to company SOPs, SMS policies, and regulatory requirements.

What You’ll Bring

• FAA ATP Certificate and current BD700 PIC type rating.
• Total time: 4,000 hours minimum (4,500+ preferred).
• PIC: 2,000 hours minimum.
• Multi-engine: 1,500 hours minimum.
• Turbine: 1,000 hours minimum.
• Logged IFR: 300 hours minimum.
• Current First Class Medical; no accidents, incidents, or FAA enforcement actions in the last 5 years.
• Meets ICAO Annex 1-2.1.10 requirements for multi-pilot international commercial air transport.
• Authorization to work in the United States and to travel to/from all cities/countries served.

Recency: 150 flight hours in the past 365 days and 30 hours in the past 90 days.

Pay & Benefits

• Year 1 base: $225,000 with total compensation potential of $277,825.
• Sign-on bonus: $25,000 for typed & current Direct Entry BD700 Captains.
• Extra day pay and monthly flight hour bonus.
• Per diem: $75/day domestic; $120/day international.
• Paid training days; training scheduled 6 months in advance.
• Choice of vacation time (in addition to 17/13 schedule) or a $10,000 in-lieu-of-vacation bonus.
