Job summary

Etched in San Jose, CA is seeking a Platform PLM BOM Analyst to enhance BOM quality and data governance across the PLM ecosystem, focusing on BOM analysis, reporting, validation, and reconciliation across Teamcenter, procurement, and As-Built records.

You will partner with Engineering, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, and Finance to define requirements, implement scalable solutions, and drive improvements in data accuracy and operational efficiency.

Qualifications

• 5–8 years of experience supporting product data, BOMs, PLM, or related hardware product development environments.
• Experience with Bills of Materials, product structures, or manufacturing product data.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• High attention to detail and data accuracy.
• Experience creating reports, dashboards, or data comparisons.
• Ability to investigate discrepancies across multiple systems and data sources.
• Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and validate BOMs for accuracy, completeness, and consistency.
• Identify and resolve discrepancies across Engineering, Contract Manufacturer, procurement, and As-Built BOMs.
• Develop and maintain BOM reports, dashboards, Delta BOMs, and data quality metrics.
• Support Engineering Change analysis, implementation tracking, and product data validation.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to improve product data quality and manufacturing readiness.
• Support Teamcenter reporting, testing, and validation of new PLM capabilities.
• Identify opportunities to improve BOM management, reporting, and product data governance.
• Identify opportunities and develop business solutions to improve BOM management, reporting, and product data governance.
