Job summary

Caterpillar Inc. in Little Rock, AR is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer- BOM/ Change Control to coordinate engineering change control, product configuration, and BOM activities to support production releases.

The role works cross-functionally with engineering, manufacturing, material planning, procurement, scheduling and production support to ensure accurate configurations and timely material availability for production and customer needs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, Operations Management, Engineering, Business, Logistics, or related field.
• Progressive supply chain, planning, operations, manufacturing, or logistics leadership experience.
• Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt preferred.
• Proven experience leading enterprise planning or supply chain transformation projects.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate engineering change control, product configuration, and bill of materials activities.
• Ensure engineering releases and material requirements are accurately implemented.
• Serve as a cross-functional link between engineering design, manufacturing, material planning, procurement, scheduling, and production support.
• Identify and resolve BOM, material, and engineering change issues that could impact production.
• Support timely availability and implementation of components to satisfy production and customer requirements.
