Job summary

Ace Hardware Home Services is seeking an experienced HVAC installer in Indianapolis, IN to independently manage residential and light commercial HVAC installation projects from start to finish. You will install equipment and gas lines, troubleshoot field issues, and ensure all work complies with codes and safety requirements.

EPA certification is preferred, valid driver’s license required, and a strong customer-service mindset will help you maintain our reputation for reliable service in the

• Demonstrated experience leading installation projects
• Advanced knowledge of duct design, airflow, refrigerant systems
• EPA Universal Certification preferred (if available)

Responsibilities

• Independently manage residential and light commercial HVAC installation projects from start to finish.
• Install HVAC equipment and gas lines in residential/light commercial settings without supervision.
• Troubleshoot and resolve installation challenges in the field with minimal management support.

What You’ll Do

• Independently manage residential and light commercial HVAC installation projects from start to finish.
• Install HVAC related equipment, including gas lines used in a residential and light commercial setting, successfully without supervision.
• Troubleshoot and resolve installation challenges in the field with minimal management support.
• Ensure all work complies with manufacturer specifications, local codes, company standards, and safety requirements.
• Maintain accurate logs of all work performed.
• Ensure our reputation for superior service is maintained during all interactions with customers.
• Complete special projects and additional duties as assigned / required.

What you need to succeed

• 3-5 Years Residential HVAC installation experience is preferred.
• Demonstrated experience leading installation projects and mentoring less experienced technicians.
• Advanced knowledge of duct design, airflow, refrigerant systems, gas piping, and HVAC system performance.
• EPA Universal Certification preferred.
• Valid Driver’s License and Clean MVR.
