Job summary

Ace Hardware Home Services, Inc. is seeking an experienced residential HVAC technician to service and maintain HVAC systems in Allentown, PA. You will troubleshoot issues, perform maintenance, and support warranty work while delivering top-notch customer service.

This role offers a $28–$35 hourly wage with an incentive bonus opportunity and a sign-on bonus up to $2,500; strong earning potential exists through performance incentives. A valid EPA Universal certification is required.

Qualifications

• Min 3–5 years residential HVAC experience.
• High school diploma or GED with EPA Universal certification.
• Degree in Heating and Air Conditioning Technology a plus.

Responsibilities

• Service HVAC systems on time and to customers' satisfaction.
• Troubleshoot and repair customer systems.
• Perform scheduled maintenance and warranty work.
• Suggest system improvements and modifications.
• Work on furnaces, boilers, zone systems and related equipment.

Earning Potential: Top-performing technicians can earn $90,000+ per year through a combination of base pay, spiffs, and performance incentives. Results vary by individual performance.

What You’ll Do:

• Responsible for servicing all system issues on time and to the customers satisfaction
• Troubleshoot and repair customer systems
• Perform scheduled maintenance
• Perform warranty work
• Suggest system improvements, and modifications
• Work on HVAC equipment, furnaces, gas boilers, and zone systems.

What you need to succeed:

• Min 3 - 5 years Residential HVAC experience
• High school diploma/GED EPA Universal certification
• Degree in Heating and Air Conditioning Technology a plus
• Self-motivated to achieve annual goals and objectives
• No sales pressure environment
• Strong interpersonal skills
• Customer service oriented
• Superior trouble-shooting/diagnostic and repair skills for a/c systems, gas and oil furnaces, gas and oil boilers, zone systems and other HVAC equipment
• Clean driving record

Physical Requirements: Physically able to work on HVAC units. Will be required to work in settings with extreme cold or extreme heat, depending on time of year. Prolonged periods of standing, kneeling, crawling, or climbing ladders. Must be able to lift 50 pounds at a time. This position is not eligible for employment visa sponsorship now or in the future. A valid driver's license with at least 3 years of US driving experience, is required for this role
