Job summary

Ace Hardware Home Services, Inc. is seeking an experienced HVAC technician for on-site service across New Jersey. You will diagnose heating and cooling issues, advise on repairs or replacements, and support installation work tied to your sales. A strong focus on customer respect and safety is essential.

The role requires extensive HVAC knowledge, a willingness to learn, and the ability to work late when necessary, with a company-provided truck and a sign-on bonus for eligible candidates.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years experience in the trade.
• A valid driver’s license with at least 3 years of US driving experience.
• A positive attitude with a willingness to treat our customers with the utmost respect.
• A deep understanding of heating, AC, and IAQ equipment and HVAC system designs.
• Enthusiasm to learn and grow.
• The ability to treat your time in our client's home as an invited guest.
• Ability to work late when the job at hand requires it.

What You’ll Do

Physical Requirements

• Physically able to work on HVAC units.
• Will be required to work in settings with extreme cold or extreme heat, depending on time of year.
• Prolonged periods of standing, kneeling, crawling, or climbing ladders.
• Must be able to lift 50 pounds at a time.
