Job summary

EVstudio in Boise seeks a Lead Civil Engineer to anchor the Boise team and own technical excellence. As the senior civil engineer, you’ll grow a Boise-based group and collaborate with architecture, MEP, and structural teams on integrated projects.

You’ll lead design and project management across commercial, residential, municipal, and multi-family ventures, mentor junior engineers, review drawings and calculations, and help shape QA/QC processes in a collaborative, design-forward firm.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s in Civil Engineering or related degree.
• PE license Idaho or ability to obtain quickly.
• 7+ years in civil engineering with a strong design portfolio.
• Proficiency in Civil-3D.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
• Commitment to quality design, mentorship, and client satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Lead civil design and project management for diverse projects.
• Serve as the technical lead on civil designs.
• Oversee and review calculations, drawings, and construction documents.
• Mentor and supervise junior engineers.
• Coordinate with architects and in-house disciplines for integrated delivery.
• Contribute to QA/QC processes and internal standards.
