Job summary

Qualifications

• Professional Engineer (PE) license required.
• Ability to lead structural design for gravity and lateral systems.
• Experience coordinating with architecture, MEP, and civil teams and project managers.
• Strong QA/QC discipline and time management to balance multiple project demands.

Responsibilities

• Lead structural design and analysis for gravity and lateral force-resisting systems across steel, concrete, wood, and masonry construction on selected projects.
• Review, and where licensure allows seal, structural calculations and drawings.
• Coordinate directly with architecture, MEP, and civil teams and project managers.
• Mentor Staff and Project Engineers to raise team-wide technical quality.
• Resolve complex technical and construction administration issues.
• Develop structural fee proposals and contracts, and build and maintain client relationships.
• Help establish consistent workflows and quality standards for the Boise structural practice.
