EVstudio in Boise seeks a Lead Civil Engineer to anchor the Boise team and own technical excellence. As the senior civil engineer, you’ll grow a Boise-based group and collaborate with architecture, MEP, and structural teams on integrated projects.

You’ll lead design and project management across commercial, residential, municipal, and multi-family ventures, mentor junior engineers, review drawings and calculations, and help shape QA/QC processes in a collaborative, design-forward firm.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s in Civil Engineering or related degree.
• PE license Idaho or ability to obtain quickly.
• 7+ years in civil engineering with a strong design portfolio.
• Proficiency in Civil-3D.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
• Commitment to quality design, mentorship, and client satisfaction.

Responsibilities

What You’ll Do

EVstudio is seeking a Lead Civil Engineer to anchor our Boise team. This is a high-impact role for a licensed engineer who’s ready to take ownership of technical excellence, grow a Boise-based team, and collaborate across disciplines within a dynamic and integrated design firm. As the senior-most Civil Engineering professional in our Boise office, you’ll be shaping project delivery, guiding junior staff, and collaborating closely with our architecture, MEP, and structural teams.

• Lead civil design and project management for commercial, residential, municipal, multi-family, and mixed-use projects
• Serve as the technical lead on civil designs
• Oversee and review calculations, drawings, and construction documents
• Mentor and supervise structural EITs and junior engineers
• Coordinate with architects and other in-house disciplines for integrated project delivery
• Contribute to QA/QC processes and the development of internal design standards

Requirements

• Bachelor’s in Civil Engineering, or another civil-related degree
• PE license required (Idaho or ability to obtain quickly)
• 7+ years of experience in civil engineering, with a strong design portfolio
• Proficiency in civil design software, primarily Civil-3D
• Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills
• Commitment to quality design, team mentorship, and client satisfaction

We are targeting a base salary of $125,000 to $150,000, but this is determined by several factors, including education, experience, and a history of working in the Boise metro area.
