Qualifications

• Journeyman license or equivalent is required.
• Prefer Pipe-Fitter or Gas-Fitter credentials.
• Boiler Operator License (BO1/BO2) preferred.
• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record.
• No criminal background; ability to pass drug/background screens.
• Minimum two years mechanical/electrical experience.

Responsibilities

• Travel to job sites for routine and emergency boiler services.
• Read and understand technical manuals, quotations, and warnings.
• Assist in troubleshooting and repairs on boilers and related systems.
• Prepare and maintain maintenance records; submit paperwork timely.
• Comply with safety policies, drug/alcohol policies, and guidelines.
• Coordinate with inspectors, foremen, and local authorities as required.
• Willingness to advance to Lead Boiler Technician after tests and licensing.
