Job summary

Blount Fine Foods Corp. in Fall River, MA, is seeking a Fireman to perform boiler and facility maintenance during the 10:30 PM–6:30 AM shift. You will conduct rounds, monitor equipment, and log data to ensure continuous, safe operations.

Requires a MA second class fireman's license or higher and a one-year college/tech certificate or equivalent experience. Company benefits include health, 401(k), PTO, and education assistance.

Qualifications

• Massachusetts second class fireman's license or higher.
• One year certificate from college or technical school.
• Three to six months related experience and/or training, or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

• Make scheduled rounds regarding technical operations in the mechanical and boiler rooms.
• Log all pertinent data and make adjustments as needed.
• Responsible for preventive maintenance on boilers and associated equipment.
• Perform planned PM's, maintenance inspections/repairs as required.
• Perform emergency repairs and adjustments while line is running in a timely and efficient manner.
• Maintain building facilities including waste water treatment, refrigeration systems, and building environment systems.
• Repair and preventive maintenance of fork trucks and pallet jacks
• Installation of new equipment to improve current production processes
• Maintain the facility and equipment to ensure maximum reliability.
• Maintain outside perimeter of facility during winter months to ensure walkways and paths are clear of snow and ice.

The pay range for this job is $25.00 to $25.63 per hour.

The hours for this role are 10:30PM to 6:30AM.

SUMMARY Summary Perform fireman duties on facility boilers and any maintenance on equipment and/or building as requested by the maintenance supervisor.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Make scheduled rounds regarding technical operations in the mechanical and boiler rooms.

• Responsible for preventive maintenance on boilers and associated equipment.

Secondary Responsibilities:

• Perform planned PM's, maintenance inspections/repairs as required.
• Perform emergency repairs and adjustments while line is running in a timely and efficient manner.
• Maintain building facilities including waste water treatment, refrigeration systems, and building environment systems.
• Repair and preventive maintenance of fork trucks and pallet jacks
• Installation of new equipment to improve current production processes

Positional Safety

• Comply with all plant safety rules and regulations; including but not limited to:
• (Boiler room specific)
• Lock out/Tag out procedures
• Personal Protection Equipment (PPE)

Education and/or Experience

• One year certificate from college or technical school; or three to six months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Massachusetts second class fireman's license or higher.
