Job summary

Qualifications

• Associate's degree or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or 2–5 years related experience.
• Must possess a 3rd Class Stationary Engineer license for the State of Ohio or obtain license within 1 year of hire.
• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret technical procedures and regulations.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

Responsibilities

• Perform chemistry analysis on boilers, cooling towers and secondary plants.
• Operate FGD system and air systems; troubleshoot and coordinate problem resolution.
• Support boiler plant start-up and shut-down activities.
• Support vendor and contractor daily routines (e.g., ash hauling).
• Read meters and gauges; verify operating conditions.
• Inspect equipment; maintain and replace components; recordkeeping in logs.
• Enter work orders into Maximo system.
• Other duties as assigned.
