Job summary

Southerly Wastewater Treatment Plant in Ohio is seeking a Stationary Engineer to operate and maintain complex boiler and incineration systems, turbines, and auxiliary equipment. The role requires monitoring gauges, adjusting controls, and ensuring safe, compliant operation 24/7.

Candidates must have a high school diploma or GED, at least three years of experience with steam turbines and boilers, and a valid Ohio Stationary Engineer license.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Three (3) years of experience operating/maintaining steam turbines and boilers.
• Experience with incinerators or waste heat systems is a plus.
• Must possess knowledge of safety procedures and lockout/tagout requirements.

Responsibilities

• Operate boilers, turbines, and related equipment using HMIs and controls.
• Monitor gauges, alarms, and process variables; make adjustments as needed.
• Record operating data and maintain logs.
• Perform routine maintenance and inspections on equipment.
• Follow safety procedures and respond to process upsets.
