Job summary

Lamb Weston in Twin Falls, ID, is seeking a Maintenance Operator to monitor boiler and refrigeration systems, read meters, record data, and adjust controls to keep equipment in safe operating ranges. You will perform preventive maintenance, document work in the CMMS, and collaborate with B&R Mechanics for larger repairs, ensuring quality and safety across production lines.

Strong attention to detail, ability to pass fit tests, and proficiency with MS Office are required; the work environment

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Lock-out/Tag-out certification required; training provided if not qualified.
• Experience in manufacturing maintenance, preferably food processing.
• Must pass pulmonary/fit test yearly due to SCBA.
• Fluent in English, written and spoken.
• Basic math and computer skills; proficient in Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Starts, operates, and shuts down boiler, refrigeration and auxiliary systems.
• Records equipment data in daily logs and sheets.
• Adjusts controls to bring equipment into prescribed ranges; switch to backups as needed.
• Visually inspects equipment for malfunctions and takes corrective action.
• Performs preventative and general maintenance; collaborates with B&R Mechanics for larger repairs.
• Documents removal, installation, and repair of plant equipment.
• Explains equipment purpose and troubleshooting decisions.
• Updates CMMS daily with work order results.
• Performs non-routine maintenance as assigned.
• Keeps organized workspaces and documentation.
